I have realised that sometimes, my storm just turns on. Like the LED just turns on At RANDOM times when nothing is occurring. Meaning I get no Email, no SMS, nothing. It may be one of my apps such as Viigo, maybe a new RSS feed, but even then after it updates and the LED turns on for 30 seconds it should turn back off right? Well. My phone, basically when I am sleeping, I don't usually charge it when I go to bed as it is already fully charged. Well, when I go to sleep, I guess in the middle of the night the phone turns on either by a new email or Sms or w/e, and then It DOESNT turn back off. Like it doesnt go back into standby mode, instead the light just stays on forever, and the battery dies VERY quickly...and the back of the phone gets very hot! Please help! My back light dimmer is set to 30 seconds..I have tried setting it to 15 but the same thing happeneds.

I'm guessing you have some application that's making background data requests and that's what's "messing" with your phone. Maybe the application was not written properly and therefore is consuming your battery and maybe even memory.

Have you tried a battery pull?
