Default Phone Log - Info Request - Newbie ?

Please Login to Remove!

I can't see phone calls more than a month old in the 'Call Log'.
Are calls archived somewhere?
Is there a program to access them? If not it seems the only alternative is to go back to old phone bills, right?

Thanks in Advance...

Go into your messages folder and press Alt + P and it should bring up your phone logs.

Ok ... but the call logs get backed up every other day or so - don't they?
Is there a tool to extract or query the logs from the backup archive?

Sounds like nobody cares but I thought I'd close out the thread with my resolution...

1. I learned that the ipd files contain the phone log database (amongst all the all the other backed up data)
2. There are a number of apps that read and write ipd files nicely.

For $20.00 I have control over my data. RIM should have provided this utility.
