Default Two Emails?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

No problem setting up email but I now receive duplicates (two emails) for all of my emails in Outlook Express - Is this normal?

Cheers

Go into your BIS account (assuming you are using BIS) and edit each email account to delete the AUTO BCC.

Or if you use GMAIL: HOW-TO: Prevent G-mail "Sent Items" from being sent to your handheld.

I'm with Vodafone - I do not have anything in the Auto BCC field - therefore assume its not this?

"Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express sends duplicate emails when
Norton AntiVirus email scanning is enabled

Situation:
Norton AntiVirus 2002 or 2003 (NAV) is installed and Email Scanning is
enabled. When you enable the Automatic Send feature within Microsoft
Outlook 2002 or Outlook Express 5.0/6.0 and send email, duplicate
emails are sent."

you can either disable the automatic send feature
within Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express, or you can disable the
Outgoing email scanning feature of NAV email scanning.

Jhon,

I am not sending two emails I am receiving two emails i.e. if you sent me an email I would get two! in my Outlook Express inbox! This started when I set up my Blackberry.

The only para in OutLook I alerted was I checked "Leave a copy of messages on server"

Hi Gazab,

hmm sounds strange, if you open the messages in the Blackberry, hold ALT and type in V I E W. and scroll up are both the refID's the same?

Hi,

Sorry you may be misunderstanding me....the emails are duplicated to Outlook Express on my PC. They are not duplicated on my phone!
