Default Is the 9520 still just a rumor?

Rogers had produced documents with it listed supposedly back in January... and we are nearing the timeline that was predicted for it's launch.

Does that mean that a summer launch of the Storm2 is more likely than very late in the year? I've previously seen discussions here and there that mention a September-December launch window. Or is this thread discussing something else entirely?

Well.. it's hard to say.

The Rogers 9520 WiFi Storm was known in January, and there was no mention of it being the Storm2, rumored in May June.

The Storm2 deal surfaced just last month at a conference in Europe for the later launch you mentioned.

It could be the same device, I just don't really think so.

OK. Can I assume that they use the "Storm" moniker to denote any of the BB's that will have a touchscreen?

But there's been no official announcement from a carrier yet on the availability of a Wi-Fi Storm?

<waits impatiently for WES hoping for good news>

Default Storm 9520?

It may just be a part of the upcoming Storm 2 release...

According to Crackberry, OS .141 adds WIFI capability to the Storm.

The .141 forum illustrates how to activate the WIFI capability once you load .141.

Just FYI
