Yes, as long as they both have BlackBerry data plans. You will not be charged any additional fees either. One of the benefits of BBM.

I was curious about this myself. My research partner overseas gave me his PIN number and we are still unable to make it work.

However we remedied the situation with Google chat.

There are sometimes problems when one or both users are on BES.

Wirelessly posted

If you're on BES and having BBM issues then it could be a peer-to-peer key issue. Have your BES admin look into it.

When my fiance goes to the US we are able to BBM each other without any issues. But here is my question. We are both on Telus in Canada. If she txt msgs me I can see there being a charge but does using BBM also charge her data roaming?

If she is roaming, then there will be a charge. It has nothing to do with BBM, it has to do with using data while roaming. BBM just happens to be using data.

You can talk with someone from anywhere in the entire world. No extra charges.
