I suppose the application developers could rename them for you if you asked. It is a pretty simple cod file edit which they can do, then they would have the cods re-signed by RIM, etc., and sent to you, delete the old, install the new.

Come to think of it, I doubt many developers will do this for one user.

Obviously they wouldn't. I should have been clearer with my question. Does the Storm have a mechanism whereby users can change app names at will?

I guess the answer is no.
