Default Star Trek communicator?

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, so I am wanting to turn my Storm into a Star Trek communicator. I have been looking around but I cannot find either of the two things I would like. I would like a Star Trek theme that might make it look a little more communicatorish. I would also like to find the ring tone, but I have been unable find that either. Any help with this would be fantastic.

I am not familiar with the Star Trek Communicator as I am not a avid Trekkie. However for the ringtone, if you can locate the audio, you could create your own ringtone with software such as Audacity.

I have the file you seek. I will try to attach it. The themes you seek can be found for free for the storm on another popular crackberry forum!

A communicator ringtone is a little wishy washy, too many beeps make it sound goofy.

a 24 or a FF ringtone works well.

Here is a good Trek file for the alarm clock to use!!

OK.. this ringtone stuff got me thinking. I recently was able to find and downlaod the actual picture of what the Storm used as a default picture... the purple lightning bolt. has anybody here heard of a ringtone which would compliment that bolt.. like say the sound of thunder or lightning crackling??
I would love to say that a storm is brewing and have my phone maybe crackle and with vib on...(which as I understand it we cannot get vib and ringtone at the same time) too bad we cannot get both. any comments on it?

Look up BBLight or BuzzMe, they will both do what you want.

Were you referring to my post? I know that some of these get answered to a post many questions back.

Yes, your post. Those apps allow for simultaneous vibrate and ring.

BBLight gives you the ability to keep the backlight on, open the messages folder when a new email arrives, the option to have the phone ring and vibrate at the same time with phone calls etc.

Check it out here: Download BBLight/BBWeather/BBToday/BBReply binaries (GPL source code included!)

This site has some interesting sound effects, including various Thunder variations.
