Ok, so I am wanting to turn my Storm into a Star Trek communicator. I have been looking around but I cannot find either of the two things I would like. I would like a Star Trek theme that might make it look a little more communicatorish. I would also like to find the ring tone, but I have been unable find that either. Any help with this would be fantastic.

I am not familiar with the Star Trek Communicator as I am not a avid Trekkie. However for the ringtone, if you can locate the audio, you could create your own ringtone with software such as Audacity.

A communicator ringtone is a little wishy washy, too many beeps make it sound goofy.

a 24 or a FF ringtone works well.

It would be awesome if there could be a theme for blackberry storm that was like the Star Radio Communicator app did for the iphone.

OK.. this ringtone stuff got me thinking. I recently was able to find and downlaod the actual picture of what the Storm used as a default picture... the purple lightning bolt. has anybody here heard of a ringtone which would compliment that bolt.. like say the sound of thunder or lightning crackling??
I would love to say that a storm is brewing and have my phone maybe crackle and with vib on...(which as I understand it we cannot get vib and ringtone at the same time) too bad we cannot get both. any comments on it?

Yes, your post. Those apps allow for simultaneous vibrate and ring.

thank you JS. I have the BB light which is like a flashlight in the dark.. it that the light you are referring to or is there another app which is just called BB light?
