Default Turning off data traffic when abroad?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an unlimited data plan on Vodafone, as I guess most do. This data use is free for UK use but would not be free if I was downloading overseas.

I would assume, as previous phone have, that when overseas, the phone will roam to another network and this is not a problem for phone calls. However, in this case I would not want my Storm using any data useage to recover emails etc.

Is there any way that the phone can be set up to receive calls as normal but block any data traffic until I return to the UK?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Go to Options and then into Mobile Network.

At teh top of the screen there is an option for Data Services. You can change it to Off when Roaming so you will not receive any email. However phone calls and SMS are not affected!
