I have owned a Storm 9530 from Telus for the last 4 months, and have not had any problems with it...until this morning. All of a sudden, I am getting this warning message:

"Device Memory not accessible due to detected errors. To correct the errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer."

That is the first time this message has shown up, and I am not sure what to make of it?

Any ideas on why all of a sudden I am receiving this? Also, what would be an appropriate error-checking utility I can download to correct the errors?

I am running Win XP Pro with all the latest updates.

I think that you should reinstall your OS.

Ok, I Google'd the error message and came up with the answer, which was given on this very Forum.

I used the utility that was built into Win XP, and now I am no longer receiving the error message, albeit only for the last 15 minutes since running the utility.

It's fine that you didn't have to reinstall OS.
