Default Call Waiting Feature

Please Login to Remove!

My Storm doesn't have a call waiting feature. According to the manual and HELP, from my Phone/Options menu I'm suppose to enable or disable my call waiting feature just like my previous BlackBerrys. My Storm doesn't even have call waiting in the phone options. However, I'm still able to see a call coming in while on a different call, but if I take the incoming call the previous call is lost. Is anyone else experiencing this, or I'm I just unique?

Call Waiting is a service of the carrier, and can be enabled or disabled by the carrier, same with the phone options > call waiting function.

So no, its not on my 9530 either.

I do understand that this is a service of the carrier. All I'm saying is that it is not explicitly stated in the phone options of this particular phone, as is implied in the HELP. I've had the same carrier with my other BB and it was stated. The last portion of your post I'm still unclear about. Thanks

Correct, it is not a phone menu option, on the 9530.

It is on the 9500's phone menu option.

Well J I guess it's only fair for us to tell RIM they need to modify their HELP contents for the 9530 to remove the unnecessary stuff ...thanks for your clarification.
