Angry Weird issue...

Please Login to Remove!

I'm currently on .141. I have a weird issue. When I get a call or make a call, I can't hear anything on the headset. A headset icon shows - so I assume the Storm thinks there is a headset plugged in. If I plug in the headset I can hear and speak on the call - but even when I plug it out - it doesn't switch to the handset. Pressing the handset button on the touchscreen does nothing. In addition, there's no option in the menu to switch to speakerphone or bluetooth.

Any ideas on how to fix this? should I downgrade my OS? As you can guess it makes my Storm almost unusable as a phone!!

Out of curiosity did you have the same issue as the OP?

If you search these forums, there are others who had exactly the same problem. Reloading the OS fixed the problem.

Thanks guys. How do I reload the same OS? Using AppLoader?

I'm travelling all this week with a work laptop that I don't have admin rights on - so won't be able to do it until the weekend!

I've had some problems with my Storm and had to reload the OS, and I used the AppLoader from the c:\rim\..., not the one from DM. It took me only 3 to 5 minutes.
