I can log into

BlackBerry Internet Service

With no problems. But when I try from my blackberry itself from it wont let me from the emal settings on debice. Any idea why this might be (and yes, I am using the same user id and password :-;). Am I missing a setting perhaps?

I may not understand what you are trying to do, but:

I can't log into My T-Mobile from the blackberry. Only from a desktop computer. If you are trying to login to your carrier's BIS webpage from the blackberry, I suspect you would have the same issues. (But don't really know.)

You should be able to access your BIS settings from the the setup internet email feature on the blackberry. And I doubt you would have to login. I don't.

Yes, I realise I should be able to, but I cant. I can login from the web browser however so I know I know my access IDs.

So the email setup wizard on the blackberry asks for login? That's interesting. I wonder if that is the way it is on your carrier? My only experience is with Tmobile.
