Welcome to the forums.

Try removing the battery for 30 seconds (while the device is powered on).

Is this software compatible with the 9500?

They said i must be compatible with the 9500.
So that can't be the problem.

Even if that software is compatible with the 9500, you might still get an error especially if you are using a new OS.
I have a friend with a Bold and he updated his OS a last week, and many apps are giving this error especially all Twitter apps. Try uninstalling that software, and see if the Storm works perfectly.

Everytime I get this error I go to the app details and change the options and it works fine after that. BB/Options/Advanced Options/Applications/"what your app is" Press the BB button which brings up the menu, then click Edit Permissions and wherever it says default or off, just change it to Allow. That should take care of the uncaught exception errors.

I had that problem and I think it was a database error. After a lot of searching, my only option was to wipe and re-install the os.
