I use Microsoft Outlook on my work computer, but it is also linked somehow to a gmail account that my phone was able to access prior to my downloading the new software update. I was able to read emails, but I was not able to reply. I am not exactly sure if this is an issue with my phone or with my gmail/outlook. Is there another way to have my emails from Outlook go to my phone also?

Actually email doesn't flow from Outlook to your BB. It flows from the email servers that you use.

Assuming that you have a BB data plan properly configured, check our FAQ for how to set up your email. It is also in the Users Guide that came with your device.

So I tried to download the software that came with the phone, but it wasn't working. I then went online to the RIM site and downloaded the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, but I STILL cannot find the BlackBerry Redirector. I am starting to get very frustrated.

You don't want Redirector. Doesn't work very well.

Use BIS and set up your email per the link I gave above. If this is your work email, you will need to know if your employer allows POP and/or IMAP. If so, you will need the incoming and outgoing mail servers.

What didn't work with Desktop Manager? What version of Outlook are you using?
