Default Having trouble transferring contacts from Palm to Storm

Please Login to Remove!

The title says it all. Friend just got a new BB Storm. His old phone was a palm 700w. I know he should be able to transfer from Outlook to each phone, but for some reason this does not seem to be working. I have looked on here, but the apps I see are online data storage. This isn't an option since the Palm is no longer on the network so there is no way to up load it without activating it then de-activating it. Any help on a desktop solution would be handy.

thanks in advance.

What version of Outlook is your friend using?

He needs to have the Palm Desktop manager with all of his contacts installed for it to work. I had no problems going from my T|X to my 8330. All contacts, calendar items, memos, and tasks were transferred 100%.

The issue as described to me is that the version of outlook that he is using with the Palm Desktop manager is 2003. The device manager for the BB Storm will not work with the older version of outlook. The newer version of outlook will not even see his Palm.
