Default Quick Pull

Please Login to Remove!

I have used the quick pull before and now all of a sudden I cannot schedule a time for the quick pull to work. I am trying to schedule it in the middle of the night but when I hit the ok button it does nothing. It will only allow me to set the time for the current time that I am entering the program. Has this happened to anyone else?

Another matter, it seems like my buttons may be freezing. All of a sudden I need to press the buttons numerous times before the keyboard will respond. it currently set at 500/1000. I have tried many different settings with no luck. Any ideas?

I would start with a battery pull if you haven't already.

I did the battery pull to no avail. I have decided to delete the Quick Pull from the phone. A tech at Verizon told me that if I schedule a time to turn off and then turn on the phone that is the same as doing a battery pull; is this correct?

Phone off then back on is not the same as a battery pull. There are other programs out there that will do the same as quickpull or you could try a reload. I coughed up the 5 bucks for QL. Productive little program and it has a reset device feature.

Good luck

If you're using QuickPull then that's correct. QuickPull is the software equivalent of a battery pull. If you select the Auto On/Off option, then no it is not.

I did a manual battery pull and reinstalled the quick pull. Works now; even the speed of the phone has increased dramatically. I have schedule a quick pull for 0300 each day. That should keep my Storm running nicely. Thanks for the info!

Why don't you make your on "selfbatterypullreset" every morning when you wake up before you go to the shower. It's the safest way of resetting your device. Many people are suffering from Quickpull. It seems it is in conflict with the device timer. I read similar issue as you had in many forums.

Try setting it to 1000. I have had mine set to that and have not experienced any issues.

Two questions about Quickpull:

1. I use my Storm as a clock during the night, I just drop it into the charging cradle, and I can see it from across the room. If the quickpull time is set for 3 am, will the phone come back to the clock.

2. What happens if you're on a call at the appointed "Quickpull" time? I assume it's smart enough to not reboot?
