Default My Storm won't download .148!!

Please Login to Remove!

I get an error message that says...

"Upgrade Requset failed. Try again later or upgrade using BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your computer".

I click on details and it says:

"Orignal Error: Insufficient coverage"

What is going on here? I have my connections turned on and I have full service.

For some reason, I have 1exv instead of 1EXV. Does this have something to do with it? Why is it lower case, normally its upper case and now all of a sudden it isn't.

You don't have full DATA service. You must have the ALL CAPS 1EXV.

For the manual upgrade, please see the Sticky Thread on the Latest 9530 OS in the forum section.

What are the reasons for not having full data service? I usually always have all caps, now all of a sudden, I don't.

When I try to do the wireless upgrade I keep getting a message that says no upgrades available. I am running .122 so shouldn't it see the .148 as available?

Does anyone know why it doesn't?

You need to be running an Verizon approved OS in order to be able to do a wireless upgrade.
.122 is not a Verizon OS.

Downgrade to .75 and then you'll be able to upgrade to .148 wirelessly.

There's a possible service outage.
Bad timing.
6/5/09 Verizon data outage?

Or, do the manual upgrade as recommended above.

AND, do a complete backup of your device first, in either case.
