Please Login to Remove!

No matter which tone i choose the alert will not play. Is there a way to only restore the alert that might be corupt or do i have to load s/ware from scratch.

Done the reboot and battery pull already..

When you go into desktop manager and select backup, there is an advanced tab. From there you can select individual databases to clear. What you want is the profiles database. Not saying that will fix your problem, just that's the answer to your question. But it will result in your profiles being reset to defaults. If that doesn't fix it, then it would seem it's the app.

lemme start with profiles... thx.. will let you know if it was that. I don't think it's the app as when i go into profiles and choose any ringtone or tone and press the test button..... nothing... dead silence.

Did you try changing the tone? If the tone file is on the media card, try a default tone that is in device memory.

I wonder, if you enable vibrate, doe it vibrate?

Is it broke in all profiles, or just one? (If you change from loud to normal, or whatever, does it still not work?)

Can you make it work by creating a custom profile?

Just ideas to maybe find new info, or see a pattern, that will point to the answer.

ok it was only the one and it is fixed thx. I went to advanced and just restored "tones" worked like a charm.
