Default Verizon Storm In Colombia

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Verizon Blackberry Storm. I am planning on using it only in Colombia on a colombia network. I also plan on unlocking the phone. My question is will this phone work in colombia if Unlock the phone. Also will I need to purchase a Colombia SIM Card?

You will need to know which network (CDMA or GSM) and if that network matches the frequency band of the Storm. That is your first hurdle.

The 9530 is:
CDMA 850 / CDMA 1900
GSM 850 / GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900
WCDMA 2100
