Please help, I can't get my bb 9500 to recognise albums or artists, they come up as unknown, hence all music is lumped together. I have used media manager and in the transfer box it appears with all relevant details but once on the phone they get lost. How do I get the phone to recognise the missing info?

The id3 tags are not right for some reason.

Download a free application called mediamonkey. I use it for syncing my ipod as well. It is ythe best free media managing app out there. Write all of your tags in there and then transfer. Also, u don't have to use mediamanager to transfer. U can drag and drop it to memorycard:blackberry/music
