Default Best Buy has a pretty good deal on new Storms

Just thought I would pass along the information. I got an email stating Best Buy was letting their rewards zone members get a Storm w/ new service for 49.99 and free for their premier silver memebers. Not a bad deal if you were intersted in getting a storm on a new line.

I was talking to VZW tech support yesterday (kinda broke my 8830).. and I was unsure if I wanted to replace my 8830, or get a new phone. I told them I was trying to hold out until the storm 2 came out but they had the feeling the new storm 2 will not be coming out until next january.. at least.. so I think I am going to stop by BB on the way home.. $50/100 is still cheaper then VZW's $200... anyone know if BB will let you use your NE2 credit too?

New Every Two, they give you $50/$100 credit towards a new phone if you stayed with them for at least 18 months in your contract..

From the way I took it they are only letting you have that price if you activate a new line. I'm pretty sure they won't let you use your NE2. I tried to do that around christmas on awesome deal Best Buy had going on a curve. But it still doesn't hurt to check.

Oh something else to keep in mind for those that might think about buying it just to cancel the service and sell it on ebay or something. My buddy got a dare when they first came out. Well about a month later he was given a blackberry to use for work. So he decided to sell the dare on ebay. Well he cancelled his service and sold the phone on ebay. On his next bill they were charging him for not only the contract termination but also for the new dare he got. There is something in the contract about cancelling within so long that you either have to give the phone back or pay for.
