is it possible to have the lcd on so tight it doesnot click..just got back phone from tech...but the screen no longer clicks ...anything ..when i touch the screen to select something its just there with a smudgy indent like if u press a screen with discoloration..then it does nothing but it will slide the icons up and down..

is it too tight..or not realigned properly?
any informative help is appreciated....

I'm confused: 4 minutes after posting about a replacement screen being too small, you post about a "tech" installing a screen which no longer clicks. How did you go from wanting to know about the screen size, to "just got back phone from tech" in FOUR MINUTES?

there is something called a phone and speaking to people and i don't live so far from tech ..who dropped it off ..make friends with people u will be amazed at what friends will do for friends..

You definately do not want to over tighten that screen. Those screens shatter pretty easily.

thanks for info ..but apparently its not the tighten of the screws but its the wrong one..
took a look at the broken and new this morning and there different in that the metal plate on old has circle indent (thats how i describe it ) in middle while the new one has the protusions at both ends...but i specifically asked for the lcd16693-014 which is supposed to be type 1 from company on Ebay..so i guess i have to return for correct one...i think the guy was in a hurry and didn't check compatibility issues..me too just wanted my baby back..been out of commission since may the 13th...
