Default Question on email/SMS

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking to upgrade to a BB9530. Here is my dilemna. While in Japan I had a pre-pay phone (Softbank) my fiance, who is still there also has one although it is a contract not a prepay. We were able to text back and forth and insert hearts, kisses, all sorts of little graphics, for lack of a better word. I could also email her phone from mine and have continued to do so from my yahoo account here. Does the BB allow me to insert anything into the text when I go to email her?? Or is is strictly text?? Thanks, as I want to see what my limitations are before putting down hard cash.

Is that all you want your device for? Be that as it may, there are messenger services where you can insert as many kisses and hearts as your heart desire, but since you ask about email/SMS i'll point you in the direction of MMS. Video, audio, and picture can be attached here...and naturally you know what you can do with an email.

That is not the only thing I want the phone for, but I just wanted to know my limitations with this model. Seems the Japanese are way ahead of the US in applications and what a phone can do. My prepay could link up with her phone via infrared to transfer pics, songs etc. I have Verizon as my carrier and they stated I would have to get a data package to email.

asia will always be ahead of the american market when it comes down to tech. when you start talking about phones man they are kicking are ass. as far as the 9530 its a great phone if your using the verzion network or the euro spec 3g the edge connection in the USA sucks on the 9530 but works perfect on the 9500 vodafone. it will let you attach files but i am not sure if it will let you insert like a pic.
