Default 2 storms with unresponsive screens

Please Login to Remove!

Recently my storm as well as my girlfriends storm have been having unresponsive screens sometimes.

Sometimes it won't read your touch at all and sometimes it will to many touches i.e. if you are in your email and you click on it then it will highlight a bunch of emails.

This mostly happens when i plug up the phones. I restart with a battery pull many times but it doesn't stop doing it unless i unplug the phone.

This problem just started happening 3 days ago the only thing that i did different was install slacker radio on both the phones. It also started happening while we were traveling, and her phone started doing it about 24 hours before mine.

Hers wasn't on a charger when it started and mine was on the charger when it started.

I am using the "leaked" version of the OS still.

Sorry if i gave too much info but i just gave all i knew. any help would be appreciated Thanks

Can you tell us what leaked OS you have? Also have you tried removing the app you just installed to see if it helps? I would remove it from just one phone and see what happens.

I would use JL http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...t=jl+commander to wipe the phone, then install the official VZW .148 OS.

I'm not too sure if it has to do with the OS, but u definitely can try wiping the phone. That will completely reset the whole thing. There's another thread floating around somewhere where the screen was unresponsive was because it was too cold or something of that nature. And also sometime the screen wouldn't detect the heat of your touch.

Default Fixed?

It seems i may have figured out what the issue was. apparently if you use a charger other than the one provided it makes you have problems.

I had a couple of travel chargers and that's why it kept doing that it when it happened in the car it was on the car charger. I don't know if that is poor designing in the phone or poor design in the charger but either way that sucks

Thanks for the help!
