so im about to buy an unlocked bb storm tomorrow for $275 mint condition, here are my questions:
1) is that a good deal?
2) i have att without data, just unlimited texting and calling. I wont be affected by the 3g or edge stuff will I?sending/receiving texts/phone calls/ mms wont be slower will it?
3) going from a curve 8310... will i like the typing? ive played with a storm and thought it was REALLY cool.
4. will att see that im using a phone they dont support or something?
5) if something goes wrong with it, im basically screwed right?

1. That's a fair deal. I've seen two like new 9530s sell here on our board this week for $200.

2. You'll be fine. You don't need a data plan for your needs.

3. You'll be used to the keyboard in two weeks. See the Sticky thread above in this section to for recommended KB settings.

4. If they did, they won't care.

5. Yes. You will have no carrier supported warranty.

got the phone earlier today. love it! only complaint is the screen moving from side to side. this is normal though (needs room to push). I also put some cardboard on the batter so the screen is pushed more or whatever. maybe helps a little? idk

My screen has always shifted slightly (a couple of millimeters) and it is not issue.
