Default phantom text messages - 07-01-2009, 04:03 PM

For some reason my girlfriend and I have a new text message notification on out storm but no new or unread messages.. we even erased all of our messages. any clue out to fix this?

it's probably not a text. More like a saved message or WAP Push message. Go into the Message folder amd Menu>View Folder> (Check Saved and WAP Push messages).

I get this every once and a while on mine for my email... I just go to the top date and menu - mark prior opened and it usually fixes it up :P

That is if mister is wrong and it not a WAP message

thanks for answering.. did the mark prior opened and it didn't do anything. I may just reinstall the os.. I seem to have a huge memory leak anyway. thanks!

reinstalling the os wont fix a memory leak other than by (obviously) removing all 3rd party applications. Try removing your additional apps or keep an eye on what you are running and how the memory is affected.
