Default Will there be another build?

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know if there will be another build after .148?

This build is still far from good, the bugs are driving me nuts. I just got 7 voice messages from a week ago ..... so much for that feature.

I know new builds are slow to arrive but I'll use anything if its better than this.

thanks

Yes there will be lots more builds. Now when you say you just got your voice mail? How did you get it? What I am getting at do you have visual voice mail or you call into your box by dialing *86 or your mobile number? I am just wondering.

I mean, the phone shows no voice messages and the visual voice mail icon doesn't change to show new messages. If I open the VVM app it shows no messages then one day, it suddenly downloads a bunch of messages - many over a week old.

Downloads a bunch of messages?

Or your carrier just now pushed the data down?

I still say it is a carrier issue.

Yes, running the latest VVM.

And no, I don't believe it is the carrier (VZW). Here is an example: called my cell from another phone, left a message. Phone did nothing. Pulled the battery an hour later, VVM fetched the message and notified me so I bet if I called my voice mail the msg would have been there but the software on the phone just isn't getting it.

I'm not sure why anyone is surprised, it can just be added to the list of bugs ;)

Again, even the VVM app is that of Verizons doing, not a RIM app. In other words, RIM did not build the app and it is not a part of the OS.

You need to contact Verizon.

Call Verizon and open a ticket. You are paying for visual voice mail it needs to work. If no one complains how will they know it don't work? Call them from a land-line or on another phone so you can test with them. They may need to delete your voice mail and build it back into the Voice mail system. Good luck
