Default Streaming web content (specifically YouTube) with an Un-Locked 9530.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all.

This is my first post since successfully unlocking my 9530 for T-Mobile (HUGE thanks to JSanders and MANY OTHERS!).

Last night I tried watching some YouTube videos at dinner with some friends. It would begin to stream, but then be interrupted by my "EDGE" shrinking to "edge". For 2 weeks or more, I have not had any problems, other than with a few 3rd party apps.

Is anyone else having any problems streaming?

My settings are as follows:
Mobile Network Options:
NETWORK SELECTION is Automatic
NETWORK TECHNOLOGY is GMS/UMTS
NETWORK MODE is 2G only
and my TCP/IP APN is disabled.

I've read a little bit about a "radio-swap"... Is that what I need to do? AND, is that difficult?

Any advice or help from you experts is much appreciated!

Never heard of a radio swap.
Unless you are an electrician or some other technical person, I doubt you could remove the radio from a Storm.
No idea on the data connection problems.

For me; it only works if I set the APN settings correctly.
