When I plug my mains charger into my Storm I get a flashing 'green' LED (front top right) but no 'red' LED - flashing or otherwise.

Also, the battery symbol on the screen is 'red' in colour with a yellow lightning bolt graphic through it: shouldn't this battery symbol be 'white' with a yellow lightning bolt if the unit is charging correctly?

The flashing green light is indicating that you have signal, you won't get a red light when charging.

The battery symbol is normal. If it is flashing then it means it is charging.

When your Storm is completely powered off or the battery is fully drained, you will get a flashing amber (green/yellow) light when charging. Flashing red indicates either a new message or incoming call.
