Hi All,

I am new to Blackberry's and I am having an issue with my email. It is my work email (and a POP3 account). what is happening is that the emails go to the server and when I open outlook they download into outlook. What is happening though is that the emails (even if I do not open Outlook) they do not always appear on my Blackberry.

In the interim what I have done is changed the email settings in Outlook so that Outlook will not delete them from the server for 2 days. Now eventually it seems to appear on my BB. What I am not sure of is if this is really the best way to do it (seems a little redundant to me) but not sure if it is a setting on the BB or something that is not set right. I thought as long as Outlook is closed they will all appear on my BB and when Outlook is open they (other than breifly) they will go to my Outlook.

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I need more info. Do you sink your phone with your computer or does the e-mail go to your phone over the air? Do you have a BES set up (blackberry enterprise server)

So you are using an ISP's pop3 for you work e-mail? I would check with them to make sure they don't have a setting wrong for the e-mail.
What sounds like is going on is your outlook downloads the e-mail down from the ISP and they ISP deletes it that's why you can't access on your phone.
Do you have access to set up the way your mail deletes from your ISP? On some ISP your phone will ask you to delete it from server and your phone or just on the phone.
Like i said I would call them and see what they say. Let me know if you need more help.

Sounds to me that you have solved the problem yourself by selecting "Leave Messages on Server".
