Default missing browser

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

I just unlocked and updated a strom as per the stickys in the forum. Everything seems to work great. I have EDGE connectivity, can get email and all other function, however I cannot find the browser icon.

It simply does not exist. Any info would be appreciated.

The phone is now on att. I have resent the service books several times, still no browser icon.

Go to phone options
Dial from homescreen and click no.

Then press B and see if browser can be accessed

Have you have made sure it isn't hidden, or in a Home screen folder?

The user has a Storm. I don't believe this will work.

If it isn't hidden, you should be able to press the menu key and select Switch Application and see the icon there.

Otherwise, go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Menu Key > Register Now.

I tried

and still not avail. When I press and hold the menu buttons I see the browser icon. When I try to use it, I get the follwing error;

"Your Device Does Not Currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries"

I would suggest calling your carrier and verify with them that you have a BlackBerry data plan.

I would assume so as well. I would still check with them and maybe have them re-provision your account.
