Unhappy Is it too late?

Please Login to Remove!

Bottom line: I screwed up.

I was tired and wasn't thinking and reformatted my media card. Does anyone know if it is possible to recover a file from it?

It was not encrypted and I have tried removing it and using several data recovery programs but they either don't recognize the BB formatted files or its just too scrambled to get anything as no program I have used finds anything in the card.

I guess I just need confirmation that they are gone or if not what program can recover any of it.

Thanks.

Sorry, don't think you can.

Well, you can get data off the disc if all you have done is format it.
You may need something more powerful that will recover deleted files.
There are several freeware programs, some work better than others.
You can also see if you know someone who could use FTK or Encase to retrieve the data. These are forensic utilities that are used by Law Enforcement and private sector.

Have you ever backed up your data to your computer using desktop Manager. If you have it may all still be there.
