Has anyone with a MAC downloaded DM for MAC?

If so, have you been able to upgrade your OS via the MAC DM?

DM for MAC is available, but as Midnightdraven stated, OS upgrades are not yet available via DM for MAC.

WTF!!!!!!!!

So WHY even bother releasing a so-called DM that does the same thing as what is currently offered - I think its Pocket MAC?

I love Blackberry, but this is so characteristic of RIM. Rush out half-baked hardware and software that fails to perform in fundamental aspects.

Honestly, it can't be that difficult to engineer a piece of software for MAC that manages the Blackberry device and installs the OS. Goodness!

Ok, ranting over....

It does the syncing as it should.

The issue is the OS's are downloaded as .exe files and installed onto Windows PCs. DM then reads the OS once installed onto the PC and installs it onto the device.

I've been using the Mac DM now for a few days and it works better than Pocket Mac or Missing Sync, in my opinion. I'm now back to using iCal for my calendar/tasks instead of Google's calendar/tasks and Google Sync.

This video shows how to install a beta OS using the Mac DM, so obviously it can be done. I haven't had a need to try yet, though.

The URL contained a malformed video ID.

I don't understand your issue with BB and Mac? I have DM for Mac and there has not been any issues. There was just a release update and it is cool.
