Here's the update guys.

I've finally succeeded in installing it.

Initially the biggest crap was Windows Vista. I tried it on Vista 64 and 32 and it actually failed.

Then I moved to XP and it left me right in the middle of the process with error 502 on screen. I tried several combinations but now the device was restarting as soon as my xp pc was recognizing it. VERY wierd. Then I left things and went out for a couple of hours so that I can think different next time i come back.

Then I found this thread that told me to load the apploader with
apploader.exe /nojvm
command and it worked wonders for me. I did not try it on the XP machine though, I rather moved to a Windows 7 32bit machine and it worked wonders. The same app loader wizard smoothly installed the OS and I was through.

Thanks for the great post and all your help.

How did you do it, by using the Run command?
