i was checking my voicemail on my storm last night and suddenly the screen went blank i couldnt do anything after that. so i pulled the battery and put it back in and now when the bb restarts its at a constant black screen and i cant do anything, also it makes a weird sound like dun dun dun during the startup process.i still get emails and bbm as i could hear them come in but i cant see nothing at all. what could be the problem ? never had this happen to me before

Im thinking it could be a problem with t-mobile....lol
No seriously, does your local provider have a "flash" machine they can hook your phone up to? Usually works for blank white and black screens. Also try removing the battery and hooking it up to desktop manager and seeing what you can work on, ie reload OS

You'd be amazed at what a hard reset can do
