Default Switching from Curve 8330 to Storm 2 - 11-02-2009, 08:22 PM

I'm sure I will find this out when I get my storm 2 tomorrow but was just wondering how easy it will be to transfer content over to the Storm? Can I just plug it into my computer and open Desktop manager? Will info transfer automatically? Thanks

Use the 'Switch Device' feature in BlackBerry Desktop software.

Wirelessly posted

I will have to disable compatibility mode on a few of your applications at the very least and re install he other for storm versions

That's what I have run into my curve to storm switch

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

It worked very well. I had to call VZW to get my BIS username since I hadn't signed in since I set up my personal email for my curve. Once I logged in it asked my if I wanted to switch my email to the new PIN. Worked like a charm.
