Default Where is period in Custom Dictionary? - 11-03-2009, 10:49 AM

ok, I feel really dumb having to ask this question but why is there no period available when trying to edit the custom dictionary? Any other time when you are editing text, such as in an email, the period is there when you bring up the number keys. But when you bring up the keyboard in the custom dictionary the period is no where to be found. All the other symbols are there but where is the period?

rta53,

I just checked out of curiosity. It appeared in portrait mode but then the key darkened when I pressed it.

I rotated to landscape mode and the period came back. I was able to press it and get it to appear in the field.

Try entry via landscape mode. Hope this helps ;)

Yes, when I bring up the keypad the period is there. However when I try to edit an existing word the period is missing. What I am trying to do is add one of my email addresses to the dictionary. Did you try to edit an existing entry in your dictionary to see if the period is there? Or just select "New" and see if the period is there.
