tag37,

I have made numerous OS upgrades and even though the basic phone operation will usually be better, I always experienced some conflict with one or more of the phone applications. It's just the nature of the beast.

I am no BB expert but let me offer my solution that works most of the time if an app begins acting up after an OS upgrade.

1. I always check all my forums (here, Crackberry, BB News, etc) for people having similar problems. If the problem is common there usually is a fix listed.

2. I try deleting and reinstalling the application to see if that remedies the situation.

3. 5.0 is a big step up from 4.7 so there are going to be some apps that simply don't play well until they are updated specifically for 5.0 usage. My favorite theme was a victim of that. But what I have done is a BBSAK low level wipe, OS install, I only restored my phone list and BB contacts (no settings restored), I individually reinstalled each app OTA. So far this has been my best remedy for conflicts.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply, Good point XelhaBB as it may take some time for applications to update.
