Default Rings - 11-04-2009, 10:15 AM

Hi

Hope someone can help me simply here as I read the posts but don't understand most of what they mean.

I've a Storm and its my first mobile phone.

When it rings it only does it twice 'fore it cuts to the voice mail, how do I get the thing to ring for longer?

Also on my 'puter it tells me that there is an upgraded version or something and do I want to download it, do I?

Never thought that speaking to some one could be so complicated

Call your carrier, they can change the number of rings before voicemail.
A carrier is the network you are on.

Also, please put in the model number of the storm to your profile, as there are 4 different Storm models (Storm 1: 9500, 9530. Storm 2: 9520, 9550)

It seems to be a Storm 9500 from the cover of the booklet I've got.

Anyone advise me on this download thingy

It will be an update.
However, it could be a device update, or just an update for desktop manager.
Where does this update appear?
What does it say?
