Default 9530 on 5.0.0.328 showing my incorrect phone number - 11-04-2009, 11:12 AM

When I make calls, my correct number shows on the Caller ID of the person that I am calling. But on my phone it shows what looks to be the number of the previous owner of the phone. Any ideas here?

You need to reprogram the number.

Type ##000000 then hit send.
It will open up the service menu and you can change the number there.
Hit the blackberry key and select save, then the phone will reboot and that
should solve your problem.

Installes just fine, Data works, email works, Pin's work. But try to make a call and I get " No carrier/channel available. Tried for a couple of hours and went back to 4.7. Will have to try again on my days off. Think it has something to do with the MNC's. Have to do some research.

I think mine did that too. Did you do this procedure yet?

Yes, that process goes smoothly. I checked the service screen and it chaged the Country code to 270. An easy fix, but I think the rest of the codes changed as well. Going to try to copy what is in the service screen before the upgrade to see if that does the trick.
