Why does "if" keep changing to "of" in portrait mode with the full keyboard? I've tried typing it several times in different sentences and am 100% positive I am typing and I and an F. It works fine in landscape mode.

I would say that the relative closeness of the "o" and the "i" has to be the issue. The keys are awfully small with the full keyboard in portrait mode. I have been in a similar situation in landscape. My handheld is password protected and every now and then after entering the password, it will pop up as incorrect. Sometimes it takes me two or three attempts to get it right and it is just me "big thumbing" the keys.
I use the sure type in portrait. I just changed mine to full and typed six "if's" in the body of an e-mail with no problem.

I am definitely doing it correctly. The I types fine and as soon as I type the F, it changes the word to "of" and lists the following words as options in order - of. off, if, officials, office, etc.
Does anyone have an isight on this? Does the software just assume that most of the time people mean to type "of" and it auto corrects? Is there a way to keep the auto correction but modify it at all?
So today I lost my zero when switching my keyboard to numbers. There was just a black box with no zero in it and it didn't register anything when I pressed it. I decided to pull the battery and the zero came back. I then was typing an email and when typing "if" if worked fine. Does this make any sense? could it be an ongoing problem or is it likely fixed? Thanks
