Default Back up is not backing up. - 11-05-2009, 07:00 PM

When i got the version 5.0 for my storm all of my data was lost but it also got auto backed up. I restored it and my storm was go to go.

Two weeks later, today for some reason my contacts are gone.

I tried using the same restore file that i used when updated to v5.0 and i still have 0 contacts.

I went to the advenced option of BB manager in restore/back up section and here is what i got i132.photobucket.com/albums/q35/Jungora/NewBitmapImage2.jpg

when i click on the a address book in computer databases, the arrow doesnt light up to move it to the device databases. i132.photobucket.com/albums/q35/Jungora/NewBitmapImage2-1.jpg

why arent my numbers being restored or is there a way i could actually view them from the back up file so i can put in numbers by hand?

also this is what i get when i try to restore from the original back up file. i132.photobucket.com/albums/q35/Jungora/NewBitmapImage2-2.jpg

Looks like your Address is set for Wireless Sync, go int your Address Book, hit the menu and choose options. You will see a list of "Address Books" click on the one and you see something called "Wireless Synch" most likely it will say yes. If you set it to no then you can backup your device.

Is this your work email by any chance?

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.
