Default This May Sound Stupid, Can the Storm Receive or Dump Files From/To an iTouch? - 11-06-2009, 05:44 PM

I know with the Blackberry software you can download your libraries from iTunes straight into your Storm but I'm wondering if you can share the phonebook, calender info, memos, etc. I'm giving strong consideration to an iTouch to use at work to replace my iPod Classic after seeing the PDA type functions/capabilities it has. I can't bring my Storm to work due to the no camera phone restriction and for now I've been using my iPod for all my tunes and my old 8830 for the PDA stuff. I could ditch both the 8830 and iPod if I can get the iTouch and Storm to communicate. Any ideas?

The only way that I could think of doing this would be to sync both devices with Outlook. Then, if you changed something on one, it would change on the other when you sync both.

I got the contacts to transfer via Windows Contacts. You can upload the Storm's address book to Windows Contacts via the Desktop Manager and then iTunes will allow you to download from Windows Contacts. Worked like a champ.

This is what I do. My contacts, memo's, and calendar all synch from Outlook via itunes to my Ipod touch. Was a nice surprise when I got my touch. I carry the Storm2 and Ipod Touch. Love them both.
