Default Rogers and AT&T version called Storm 9520?

Does this mean that the GSM version not as good?

I don't understand what you're asking.
Are you suggesting that the 9520 might not be as good as a 9550 because it's model number is lower?

You obviously don't know how the BlackBerry numbering scheme works.

9500 - Storm 1 GSM Base Model
9520 - Storm 2 GSM + Wifi
9530 - Storm 1 CDMA Base Model
9550 - Storm 2 CDMA + Wifi

Also the 9520 will not be coming to At&t or Rogers. It is strictly a European device at this moment.

get it unlocked from Europe and use it anywhere with GSM.
