Question Storm 9500 screen unresponsive

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Storm 9500 through Vodafone Australia & last week one section of the touchscreen became unresponsive. It's only a bar width of the screen but it goes the whole width of the screen (portrait) right where the Auto On/Off is in the options menu. It is totally unresponsive & I have to keep flipping the phone between portrait & landscape (left & right) in order to access different parts of the menu or keyboard. I have not upgraded the software (& have no intention of doing so). Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem - the rest of the screen works fine.

Have you done a simple reboot on the device: With the device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds, replace and reboot.

Does that area remain unresponsive?

Yep. It actually happened after a reboot last week & the issue isn't resolved with a battery pull.
