Default Help with my new 9500

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a 9500 and it says vodafone on the bottom of the phone, does it mean it's a European Storm 1? I'm looking to upgrade the OS to the 5.0, but I want more precise steps on how to go about this. My coworker has the same phone, but probably the US version? She says she's much happier with the 5.0 OS, am I able to upgrade it on mine as well? Thanks.

No the model number tells you its a GSM, UK (or european) Storm 1.
9500 Storm 1 GSM
9530 Storm 1 CDMA
9520 Storm 2 GSM
9550 Storm 2 CDMA.

OS's are device specific.
You cannot load a 9530 OS to a 9500.

So as of right now, there's no 5.0 OS for the 9500?
