Hi I have a BB 9530 Storm. I must have done something or accidently hit a permission thing on my phone. Basically everyting time i use a program like UberTwiter or Google maps , a messege pops up asking for permission to connect to whatever site it need to connect in order for the apps to work. It happening to all my third party apps I guess. I went throu all my permission on my application to allow and it is still asking me perssion to connect. Is there a way I can stop it asking everytime when I use any of my apps? Please help.

When the app prompted for permission, did you grant it? Or did you deny and then try and edit permissions yourself?

Actually I thought I fixed it but I found out its my firewall enabled with a lock on it. I don't have IT policy on it at all and don't use BES. Don't even know how firewall got locked at all. I read most of the forums on how to unlock it but it for only with IT policy on it. Can I do the same thing or am I stuck with this? Doesn't give the option to unlock it or disable it. please help again. Getting frustrated with application permission popping up all the time asking should I allow or deny. It like Windows Vista asking for permission when user control is on to allow certai things to install.

I don't know what else it could be. Did you acquire the blackberry second hand? Did you actually look in security options and verify there are no services installed?

My instinct is to go a head and do Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ.

That worked! My firewall is now disabled and no more request Application permission pop up! Thanks aiharkness
