Default Storm 2 bricked?

Just got a Storm 2 on Monday. I spent a good bit of time setting it up Tuesday and Wednesday, used it once this afternoon, and then went to turn it back on this evening and got no response. Pulled the battery, no response. Plugged it in got me a red LED for about 20-30 seconds, then it went out. No response while plugged in, either.

Any ideas? Bad battery? Bad unit? Is there another way, besides pulling the battery, to do a hard reset?

I did do a backup, so if I have to wipe this one (or get a new one) I'm not completely lost, but what a frustrating hassle. I was really enjoying it, coming from an old 8700.
