Default Activation Requiredd

Please Login to Remove!

So I bought a Telus 9550 last week and unlocked through Horizon Wireless. When I put my SIM card from Rogers in the phone says Activation Required at the top where Rogers Wireless should be.

What do I do now?

On the device, in the phone dial screen, dial ##000000 and press send.

Then you will enter your phone number.

tried that, i get an invalid password error

under the SIM menu everything says either disabled or inactive to this means it is unlocked if i type in mepd?

If everything "says" disabled or inactive, then your device is unlocked.

I talked to Horizon today and they said as soon as they get the proper code to remove the Activation Required they will contact me. Everything does work properly except for that message.

Also tried the Telus code for the Storm1, that did not work either.

I walked into the Telus store I bought my 9950 from and asked them for the MSL code and they entered my IMEI number into their system and it gave up the proper code. I edited my phone number, saved and rebooted. Everything is fixed.
