Question Why don't messages start from the top of the list?

Please Login to Remove!

When you get an SMS and click the icon to get to the list, it often shows the list at the middle rather than from the top where the newest message is. You have to scroll up to the top to see the newest message.

This even happens if you go to the SMS list having not received a message - when you just want to check out a previously received message.

Is there any way to set it so you immediately see the top of the list (newest message)??

(hope you don't mind all my questions, I am trying to make them clear so other people might benefit from them)

The SMS list or the email list, both, will reopen to the spot you left it.

In addition to what JSanders stated, which is most likely the case, you could also pull the battery which would correct this issue as well.
